Hallmark Channel is airing A Very Merry Bridesmaid in December as part of their annual Countdown to Christmas event. It follows prior weeks of premieres with films such as An Unexpected Christmas. Get details on the plot and cast, see photos, and a preview below.
Leah (Emily Osment) is turning 30 on Christmas Eve. But, this milestone takes a backseat to her future sister-in-law’s wedding, for which Leah is asked to be a bridesmaid. When her childhood crush Drew (Casey Deidrick) returns, it may be exactly what Leah needs to push herself to the forefront of the overlapping festivities and determine a new direction in her life.

“A Very Merry Bridesmaid” is from Unity Pictures and the executive producer is Kristofer McNeeley. Associate producers are Ron French and Steve Harmaty. The movie was directed by David Strasser. The script was written by Tracy Andreen and Elena Valdez.
A little about the producers:
Kristofer McNeeley is a 47 year old actor and producer originally from Oklahoma City. He has 48 credits to his name for producing and 10 acting credits. Some of his acting credits include Days of Our Lives, That’s Life, and and Shark in a Bottle. He will be the excutive producer for “A Very Merry Bridesmaid.”
Ron French has 44 credits to his name as a producer. including A Christmas Bridesmaid and A Christmas Proposal. He also acted in “Days of Our Lives” as well.
David Strasser is the director for the movie and is a film and television director for movies such as “The Picture of Christmas,” “Listen Out for Love,” and “Coyote Christmas.”

Emily Osment as Leah
Emily Osment, 29, is known for her roles on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, ABC Family’s (now Freeform) Young & Hungry, and the Netflix series Pretty Smart. Hallmark fans will recognize her from the 2018 film Christmas Wonderland; in 2020, she starred in the singular season of FOX’s Almost Family.
Casey Deidrick as Drew
Casey Deidrick, 34, is known for his roles on the soap opera Days of Our Lives, the MTV series Eye Candy, and most recently, as Max Parrish on In the Dark on the CW. You may have also seen him in the film Dog Days, or in a few episodes of Teen Wolf.
Casey is also a big motorcycle fan calling out the Indian Motorcycle company as the one he likes most. His co-star, Emily Osment actually commented on his photo and said, “I’m telling Patch.”
Yes! Casey is currently filming season 4 for the CW “In the Dark” alongside his co-star Perry Mattfeld who portrays Murphy Mason.
Both stars of “A Very Merry Bridesmaid,” Casey and Emily are not married in real life.

Frances Leigh who plays Julia Rutherford, is an actor from Canada and she is a full on dog mom. Here she is celebrating National Dog Day with her dog, Lou the French Bulldog.
She also loves to stay active and even goes kayaking with her dog, Lou!
Patch May who plays Paul Taylor is an actor from Vancouver, Canada who is also quite into fitness. He even created his own company called “Flamingo Fitness.”
Patch seems to love the beach and can be seen spending time with friends in that very spot.
A Very Merry Bridesmaid premieres on Saturday, December 4 at 8 PM ET/PT, only on Hallmark Channel.
