A Fabled Holiday Plot

Talia (Brooke D’Orsay) and her childhood best friend Anderson (Ryan Paevey) loved the book A Wunderbrook Christmas Story, where a town full of Christmas spirit restores its visitors during troubled times. Years later, Talia is a stalled writer and Anderson is a doctor who’s shaken up after a patient passing.

Unexpectedly, they reunite in a town that looks very similar to the one depicted in the story they loved. Talia and Anderson, along with widower Charles and soon-to-be divorced couple Keith and Diane are some of the visitors to this magical town. While there, they meet local townspeople Judy and Miles, who are worried they might not complete their mission in time for the Night of Wunder event. Nonetheless, they all enjoy the town’s Week of Wunder festivities, and each person slowly starts to rebuild themselves and their lives.

Brooke D’Orsay as Talia

Brooke is a Canadian actress. The 40-year-old is best known for her work on Royal Pains and Two and a Half Men. Since 2017, Brooke’s been known for her Hallmark Channel movies, including Christmas In Love and A Dickens of a Holiday! While not super active on social media, she makes sure to update fans on projects, like 2022’s Wedding of a Lifetime.

Ryan Paevey as Anderson

Ryan is an American actor known for his role of Nathan on ABC’s General Hospital. Since 2016, he’s starred in a variety of Hallmark films, such as Christmas At The Plaza and Coyote Creek Christmas. When he’s not working, Ryan enjoys being in nature and riding his motorcycle.
