What is Love at the Christmas Contest About?

For as long as she can remember, Angie’s favorite part of Christmas has been the Christmas Eve tree lighting in town square. But this Christmas, her first without her mom, Angie doesn’t feel much like celebrating… until she learns her mom had always dreamed of winning the annual tree decorating contest and seeing her tree lit up in town square. Angie realizes winning the contest and decorating the town’s tree is the perfect way to honor her mom. What Angie isn’t expecting is her high school sweetheart David and his adorable daughter Gabby to enter the contest, too.

Samantha Cope as Angie Waldron

Samantha is an American actress from Salt Lake City, Utah. You may recognize her from Lifetime movies most recently, A Deadly Deed.

The 33 year old is a newlywed. Samantha married actor Joey Lawrence in a beautiful ceremony on May 1, 2022. His famous brothers, Matt and Andrew were in the wedding party. The happy couple recently announced they are expecting a baby!

Ross Jirgl as David Mitchell

He is an American actor from Wisconsin. You may recognize him from his role in Heart of the Manor.

He has a brother, Ryan Jirgl.

Ross is inspiring saying, “Identity is a funny thing. Just as you think you’ve defined yourself or life has defined you, there’s always another chapter, another challenge. It’s all about getting outside of your comfort zone and until you do, you never know what you’re capable of.”
