The Great American Family Channel finished strong in 2022! The faith based network soared with their family friendly lineup of Christmas movies this past season. The network is lead by former President & CEO of Hallmark Channel, Bill Abbott who brought over many fan favorite actors from his days at Hallmark. Viewers got to see Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar, Jen Lilley amongst many others during the Christmas lineup.
According to Nielsen, Great American Family closed its fourth quarter of 2022 being touted as the fastest-growing network in cable television. The growth was exponential at #1 in total day ratings in households, viewers aged 18-49 and in total viewership.
Compared to the year prior, 2021 had 50% less original Christmas movies than they offered in 2022. The number of movies was tallied at 18, establishing the family friendly network as a go-to destination for Christmas programming.
