Ainsley McGregor (Candace Cameron Bure) is a former Chicago criminologist. She recently returned to her hometown of Sweet River, Texas. Ainsley has chosen to trade full-time crime work to open Bless Your Arts, a market for artisans to sell crafts and wares. But she cannot deny her first love is crime solving. So, she accepts a position teaching a criminology class at the local community college. Her skills quickly become a major asset to the quaint town, when a murder occurs at a winery owned by her friend. Now, Ainsley’s friend stands accused of the crime. Plus, the Sweet River Sheriff, who just happens to be Ainsley’s brother, Ryan, wants her to stay out of the investigation. But Ainsley knows the pieces of this puzzle do not fit. With assistance from local busybodies, Ainsley McGregor is back on the case to help her friend.
Candace Cameron Bure
Candace Cameron Bure has been a staple of Great American Family since its inception. The 47-year-old actress was previously crowned the “Queen of Christmas” during her years at Hallmark. Bure famously portrayed D.J. Tanner on Full House and its sequel series Fuller House. Most recently, Candace starred in My Christmas Hero on GAC. She is married to husband Valeri Bure with whom she has three children.
Aaron Ashmore
Aaron Ashmore recently recurred on the popular Netflix series Ginny & Georgia. The 44-year-old Canadian actor held roles on Smallville, In Plain Sight, Lost Girl, Warehouse 13 and Netflix’s Locke & Key. Aaron’s done made-for-TV movies for Lifetime such as The Santa Squad and Wish Upon a Christmas. In film, Ashmore appeared in titles like Conception, Regression, The Retreat and most recently, Suze. In 2014, he married wife Zoë Kate and they have two kids. He grew up in British Columbia with his twin brother, fellow actor Shawn Ashmore.

Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker will premiere on Great American Pureflix on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 9pm.
It is also set to premiere on the Great American Family Channel in October 2024.
