A Brush with Christmas is a new movie that is airing on the Great American Family Channel. It joins the lineup of 2022 Great American Christmas movies alongside titles like Aisle Be Home for Christmas and Christmas on Candy Cane Lane. Starring Jillian Murray and Joseph Cannata, it will premiere on December 18, 2022. Plot, full cast and how to watch are below.

What is A Brush with Christmas About?

Leading up to Christmas in Bayside, Charlotte (Jillian Murray) tries to capture her unique style in the local art scene while helping her mom run their family restaurant. When she struggles to find time for her art, Charlotte throws out her latest painting. But, she then discovers it’s been submitted to the Christmas art festival by an anonymous source. It turns out that a fellow artist named Wyatt (Joseph Cannata) came across the painting and is now using the festival to find out who created it. Will he discover that Charlotte is the mystery painter?

Who’s in the Cast?

Jillian Murray as Charlotte

Jillian is an American actress known for a variety of television and film roles including Sonny with a Chance, Code Black, Forget Me Not and The Squeeze. Upcoming for her is the Netflix film Uglies alongside Joey King. Originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, the 38-year-old has one sister named Meghan, who is also an actress. In 2017, Jillian married longtime boyfriend Dean Geyer, a South African-Australian singer-songwriter, and they have an adorable dog named Lyric.

Joseph Cannata as Wyatt

Joseph is a Canadian actor from Toronto. The 39 year old has appeared in many made-for-TV holiday movies like A Perfect Match, Snowbound for Christmas, Christmas Wedding Runaway and Christmas with a View. You may have also seen Joseph in episodes of The Wedding Planners, The Bold Type, Hudson & Rex and Good Witch. Another fun fact about Joseph is that he’s a cover model! When he’s not working, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his friends or family and being the “best uncle.”
