‘Secrets of a Marine’s Wife‘ is the next Lifetime Channel original movie following ‘Secrets of a Gold Digger Killer,’ in the 6 true story movies for the Summer 2021 lineup. It is based on the true story of 19-year-old Erin Corwin (Sadie Calvano), who was married to U.S. Marine Corporal Jon Corwin (Evan Roderick) and expecting her first child, when she suddenly went missing.
‘Secrets of a Marine’s Wife’ on Lifetime Plot – Based on a True Story
Sadie Calvano portrays 19-year old Erin Corwin, a marine’s wife in the original Lifetime movie. Erin was married to a U.S. Marine Corporal, Jon Corwin (Evan Roderick) and was expecting the couple’s first child. When Erin suddenly disappeared, it sparked a grueling search led by her family, friends, and law enforcement. They searched in the difficult conditions of the Joshua Tree National Park.
The search was ongoing until they found her body, two months later at the bottom of an abandoned mineshaft. Suspicions were high as they started to suspect the killer was in the Marine community. While investigating, something shocking was uncovered. Detectives found out that an illicit relationship was taking place between 19-year old Erin and her neighbor and marine, Christopher Lee (Andre Anthony). The questions arose about who Erin’s baby’s father really was.
Was this the reason for her murder? Who really did it? Detectives work endlessly to discover just who is responsible for killing Erin and bringing them to justice.

Sadie Calvano as Erin Corwin
Sadie Calvano is an actress best known for her role as Violet in CBS’s “Mom.” Calvano has been focusing on acting full time ever since the fifth grade. Prior to that, she was a gymnast.
The 24-year old is in a relationship with her boyfriend, Douglas. For Valentine’s Day Sadie posted this short video of them waking up together. She wrote, “happy valentine’s day ❣️ wishing you a day full of love, compassion, understanding, and laughter. don’t forget to tell your people you love them. hold them tight. kiss. laugh. cry. talk. embrace. our time here is so short.”
Evan Roderick as Jon Corwin
Evan Roderick is a Canadian actor and a former ice hockey player. He was raised in North Vancouver, British Columbia. He co-starred in one of the Garage Sale Mysteries from the Hallmark Movie & Mysteries Channel alongside Lori Loughlin.
The 25-year old is not very active on social media. His most recent photo was from 2020.

Tom Stevens as Chris
Tom Stevens is a Canadian actor, best known for his role on FOX’s Wayward Pines. He landed his role as Eric Griffith in Hallmark Channel’s Cedar Cove opposite Andie McDowell in 2013. Tom was in this role for two seasons. In addition to acting, Tom is also a singer, songwriter and guitarist.
The 33 year old actor met his wife, Erika Valliere while playing together in the rock band AtomAtom. The couple have a daughter together.
