Two Tickets to Paradise starring Ashley Williams and Ryan Paevey air on the Hallmark Channel. It first aired in 2022 and we have to say, the backdrop for this movie was gorgeous. Let’s dive in to see the cast, photos, and just where the cast filmed the Hallmark Channel original movie.
Two strangers meet on what feels like the worst day of their lives. Hannah Holt (Williams)
and Josh Wyatt (Paevey) have both just been stood up at the altar, and as chance would have
it, sit down next to each other in the park. Meeting each other turns out to be the morale boost
they need to commit to taking their honeymoon vacations as they try to turn lemons into
lemonade. Soon after they embark, they realize they have landed at the same honeymoon resort and keep crossing paths in tropical paradise.
Josh introduces Hannah to his friend from the past, Alice (Humes), who lives on the island and shares her wisdom with the heartbroken duo. Seeing the futility of fighting fate, Hannah and Josh eventually join forces and help learn from one other to enjoy their vacations.

The backdrop for this movie was gorgeous. Viewers everywhere are wondering, where did the cast shoot the movie? It took place on Oahu in and around Honolulu. You may have noticed a big pink hotel in the scenes. That is the Royal Hawaiian Resort.
Filming happened there and also on the gorgeous beaches of Oahu like Kaneohe Bay Sandbar.
Star Ashley Williams shared a behind the scenes video of filming.
She said, “Ok secrets out. I’m shooting an epic romantic comedy in hawaii with the incomparable (and may I say easy on the eyes?) @ryanpaevey. Hawaiian tradition says that this creative venture begins with a blessing. Of us. Of the crew, the cast, the entire creative team. A shamen came to set on our first day of shooting and encouraged kindness and creativity on this journey.
We rubbed 30 year old rain water on our hands and touched each other’s hands to show our respect and eagerness to connect and take care of each other on this project. How in the world did I get so lucky? Thank you to Oahu and island films for taking such beautiful care of us. Thanks Ryan Paevey for having my back. Thanks @poperandy and @bartfisher and @lisahdaly and @pennyperrydavis for making this happen. Thank you to our audience for showing up when our movies air and keeping us employed. I can’t wait to show you what we do here.”
