The Secret Gift of Christmas Plot

Perky bachelorette Bonnie (Meghan Ory) enjoys her job as a personal shopper. With her vibrant social presence, she turned purchasing into a successful business. The personal touches she adds are what make her stand out to clients. However, she has her work cut out for her when gruff contractor Patrick (Christopher Russell) hires her. He’s less than impressed with her choices. But, when he sees a friendship forming between Bonnie and his daughter Phoebe (Ellie Cluett), he begins to appreciate her knack for understanding others.

Soon, Patrick sees how Bonnie’s taste in gifts delight her clients, and he wonders if her sense of style might help him. The more time they spend together, the more Patrick sees the real Bonnie instead of her social media persona. But, things get complicated when Bonnie’s thoughtfulness leads another woman toward Patrick. If Bonnie and Patrick can tear down the walls between them, they just might get the greatest gift of all – love.

Meghan Ory as Bonnie

Meghan Ory starred in Hallmark Channel’s Chesapeake Shores and Dashing Through the Snow. She held a regular role as Red Riding Hood on Once Upon a Time. In 2013, Ory was cast in the CBS series Intelligence. She also starred in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original The Memory Book. Meghan divides her time between Los Angeles and Vancouver with husband John Reardon and their three children.

Christopher Russell as Patrick

Christopher Russell appeared in Chasing Waterfalls, Nature of Love, Warming Up To You, and Love in the Forecast on Hallmark Channel. Additional titles include A Dash of Christmas and most recently, Peppermint and Postcards on Great American Family. Russell was a series regular on Lifetime’s UnREAL. Guest spots on shows like iZombie, Nikita, Van Helsing and The Irrational round out his credits. Christopher lives in Vancouver with wife Tailor and children Ella and Jackson.
