A Sprinkle of Deceit: A Hannah Swensen Mystery is a new Hallmark Mystery original movie. Premiering October 4 on Hallmark Mystery (formerly known as Hallmark Movies & Mysteries), the film has Alison Sweeney returning to the titular role. Hannah (Alison Sweeney) caters Lonnie’s high school reunion where she and Michelle (Tess Atkins) meet Lonnie’s old friends. When one of the guests is found dead, everyone feels like a potential suspect. Hannah joins Chad (Victor Webster) in the investigation. Together, they collect clues and peel back the layers to get to the truth and bring the killer to justice. Meanwhile, Delores (Barbara Niven) finds herself unexpectedly whisked into the world of acting while also working the case.

Alison Sweeney as Hannah Swensen

Alison Sweeney currently stars in and executive produces Hannah Swensen Mysteries. Previously, she starred in Chronicle Mysteries for Hallmark Mystery, and the Wedding Veil trilogy for Hallmark Channel. Other notables include Days of Our Lives and The Biggest Loser. She is married to husband David Sanov with whom she has two children.

Victor Webster as Chad

Like his co-star Alison Sweeney, Victor Webster starred on Days of Our Lives. He even starred alongside her in The Wedding Veil Journey for Hallmark. Webster appeared in many other films for Hallmark, including Homegrown Christmas, Love Blossoms, Summer Villa, A Harvest Wedding and, most recently, Mystery on Mistletoe Lane on Hallmark Mystery. When he’s not working, Victor enjoys photography and jiu jitsu. He was married to fellow actress Shantel VanSanten in 2021; they separated in 2023.

Barbara Niven as Delores

Barbara Niven starred in Hallmark’s Chesapeake Shores, USS Christmas, the Christmas in Evergreen movie franchise and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Crossword Mysteries franchise. She reprised her role from the Murder She Baked films alongside Alison Sweeney, appearing in the more recent Hannah Swensen Mysteries. Barbara’s married three times and has one child. In addition to acting, Niven’s an animal rights activist.
