5 Fun Facts about Philip Boyd from GAC

Philip Boyd is an American actor and director. He is very talented and has an impressive resume of film and television roles. Most recently, Boyd starred in the lead role of Harry in Learning to Love on Great American Family Channel. In addition to acting and directing, he has tried his hand at hosting with successful results. Those host duties were on a series called Afternoon Delight Live on Hollywood and Vine. 

Fans of made-for-TV movies will definitely recognize this Atlanta, Georgia born actor. He appeared in both GAC and Lifetime network films. Next, you can see Boyd in Lifetime’s new ripped from the headlines feature Kidnapped in the Grand Canyon. In the aforementioned film, he actually portrays the villain, but he’s also known to play the good guy roles too. This proves his versatility, a highly sought after skill that every actor needs. 1) His full name is Philip Keith Boyd and he is 6′ tall. He was born on May 12, 1975 in Atlanta, GA. This makes him 48 years old.

2) TV notables of Boyd’s include: The Haves and The Have Nots, General Hospital and Days of Our Lives. Film notables include: You’ll Never Leave Me, The Singles Guidebook, Deadly Due Date and Anniversary Nightmare. He even appeared in a Ford Mustang TV commercial.

3) His wife Polina is a coach, speaker, and model management founder. They married in 2016.

4) Upcoming roles for Boyd are the film From Paradise with Love and the TV series Shadrach. He has 70 credits to his name, according to IMDB

5) When he’s not working, Philip loves to go golfing. He is a self-described “golf nut” on his Instagram bio. Boyd even got a chance to golf and support charity when he participated in The Rahm Celebrity Golf Tournament for St. Jude. “Walking off the Tee box on 17 at @tpcsawgrass for the first time supporting @stjude at the @rahmcelebritygolftournament
