Lifetime is airing People Presents: Blending Christmas in December as part of their “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” event. The film follows previous original premieres like A Christmas Dance Reunion. Get details on the plot and cast, see photos, and a preview below.
Emma’s (Haylie Duff) favorite place to spend the holiday season is The Hacienda de la Sierra. Her boyfriend Liam (Aaron O’Connell) has been secretly planning to propose to her there, surrounded by both their families. Initially things are going great, but soon, their families begin bickering over every detail. Trying to blend the two families eventually takes a toll on Emma and Liam, who start questioning their own relationship. Now with Christmas just days away, the two families realize they have to work together in order to reunite Emma and Liam!
See a preview for the movie below:
Haylie Duff as Emma
Haylie Duff is the older sister of actress Hilary Duff, and the sisters even starred in their own movie together called Material Girls. In terms of solo projects, Haylie starred as Sandy Jameson in 7th Heaven; plus, holiday films like All About Christmas Eve and Christmas Belle. She’s been engaged to Matt Rosenberg since 2014, and they have two kids together. Haylie had a food blog, cooking show, and cookbook called The Real Girl’s Kitchen. Now, she runs a clothing line called Little Moon Society.
Aaron O’Connell as Liam
Interestingly enough, Aaron actually started off as a model before venturing into acting. After booking national commercials, Tyler Perry booked him in his first drama series The Haves and The Have Nots as Wyatt Cryer. It was a huge hit for OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), which then led Aaron to book parts in movies, like Hallmark’s 12 Gifts of Christmas. The Ohio-born O’Connell now resides in Los Angeles, married to Natalie Pack, and flies planes with his private pilot’s license.
Other major names in the film include: original Brady Bunch stars Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland, Susan Olsen, and Robbie Rist; as well as Beth Broderick (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) and Greg Evigan (My Two Dads).
