Paris Christmas Waltz on Great American Family Channel – Plot & Cast

Paris Christmas Waltz is a new movie coming to Great American Family Channel (GAC). It stars Jen Lilley and Matthew Morrison. What is Paris Christmas Waltz about?

Per GAC, “In Paris Christmas Waltz, Emma relinquishes her job so a colleague with a family will keep his. Contemplating life’s next steps, Emma meets a professional dancer, Leo whose love for competitive dancing is waning, until a once in a lifetime opportunity arises for the novice to join the pro and sweep all of Paris off its feet.”

It’s being toted as a sequel to The Christmas Waltz, which aired in 2020 on Hallmark Channel featuring Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp. Michael and Janeen Damian were the duo who brought the original film to life, and they will do the same for Paris Christmas Waltz. Janeen is producing, and Michael is directing from the original screenplay they co-wrote.

Speaking of Michael, he posted a snapshot from Paris, where the movie is shooting on location. “Beaucoup bisous from Paris! 🥰 #ParisChristmasWaltz 🎥💃🕺,” he wrote.

The Cast of Paris Christmas Waltz – Who’s Who?

Jen Lilley as Emma

Jen Lilley is no stranger to holiday television movies. Between Hallmark and GAC, the 38-year-old has an impressive resume. Most recently, you may have seen Jen in 2022’s Great American Christmas in Kentucky with Jesse Hutch. Other notables include: B&B Merry for GAC, and Days of Our Lives on NBC. She is also the co-founder of Christmas Is Not Cancelled, an organization where celebrities are featured in campaigns to help give back and spread Christmas cheer.

Jen is married to husband Jason Wayne, and they have four children. She often posts about her family on Instagram.

In addition, Jen posted about Paris Christmas Waltz. “Secret’s out!!! When I tell you all I’m more excited about this film than any other film I’ve ever done, including 5x Academy Award winning movie, The Artist, you better trust me that it’s gonna be epic! Save the date coming soon ❤️,” she wrote.

Matthew Morrison as Leo

Matthew Morrison is perhaps best known for his role of Will Schuester on the FOX series Glee. He’s starred in many Broadway productions, including Hairspray and Finding Neverland. In 2020, Morrison starred as the Grinch in NBC’s Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Musical. Aside from acting and performing, Matthew has released three albums under 222 Records.

In 2014, he married wife Renee Puente. They have two children together. Matthew’s wife Renee posted a couple family photos, tagging her husband. You can see them below.

In the behind the scenes photos below, you can see co-stars Jen Lilley and Matthew Morrison on location filming Paris Christmas Waltz. It appears in the first photo that they are dancing on set. Whether that’s rehearsal for a dance number in the film, or the two of them passing time is unknown. The second photo shows them grabbing food after filming; the third shows them in costume on set.
