Kyla is a genealogy researcher who travels to the charming town of Conifer, hoping to piece together her ancestry. The search leads Kyla to a Christmas tree farm, its stubborn but handsome owner Joel – and, possibly, love.

The Cast – Who’s Who?

Emma Johnson as Kyla

Emma is an actress and producer. She’s known for portraying Nichole Lee in the film Secrets of a Marine’s Wife as well as the TV movie Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas. Guesting on shows like The Arrangement and The Magicians round out her best-known credits.

Outside of her job, Emma enjoys traveling and photography. Check out a couple of shots from Instagram now. She’s in a relationship with music video director Brock Newman.

Giles Panton as Joel

Giles is a Canadian actor. Raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, he’s worked in television, film and voice acting. Some of his notable roles include voicing Tarzan in Netflix’s Tarzan and Jane

, landing a major role on Amazon’s The Man in The High Castle, and working on projects with Marvel and Lego.

In addition to acting, Giles is also a professional drummer. When he’s not working, he enjoys snowboarding, skiing, baseball, swimming, scuba diving and rock climbing. Recently, he got to play the romantic lead opposite his real-life wife Jocelyn Panton. Giles called it “an amazing and surreal experience.” See his super-sweet post now.
