What is Mistletoe Match about?
Olivia Hayes (Elena Juatco) is a reporter. She goes undercover to provide readers with an in-depth – and cynical! – look at the hugely successful Secret Santa for Singles event. There, she meets single dad and widower Thomas (Ryan Bruce) who is just as skeptical about the program as she is. Soon, sparks fly between the two. But, with a once in a lifetime promotion on the line, will Olivia risk losing it all for the romance she never saw coming?

Who’s in the Cast of Mistletoe Match?
Elena Juatco as Olivia
Elena Juatco is a Canadian actress of Filipino and Chinese descent. She broke into the entertainment industry at 18 years old by competing on the second season of Canadian Idol. She finished in the Top 6. Elena is an accomplished singer, often composing original music for the television shows and films she’s worked on. Speaking of which, after many secondary parts in films, Juatco finally got the lead role in Mistletoe Match in 2022 (it aired in Canada first). Later, she went on to lead the film Me and Mr. Right on CTV. Other credits include: Surreal Estate, Easter Sunday and JANN. She is married to sportscaster Brendan Dunlop and they have one child together.
On December 5, 2022, Elena celebrated five years of marriage with Brendan. “5 years married today and I still cannot explain what “offside” is. ⚽️ I love you @brendan_dunlop. We are a winning team ❤️,” she wrote on Instagram. They’ll be celebrating their six year anniversary this December.
Ryan Bruce as Thomas
Ryan Bruce is a Canadian actor, producer and director. He’s produced and directed 4 shorts and has one coming up next year. In acting, Ryan’s guested on episodes of Aftermath, The Arrangement, Take Two, The Republic of Sarah and most recently, Essex County. Film work includes: The Mechanics of Love, Amish Abduction, Obsession: Her Final Vengeance, The Princess and the Bodyguard, as well as recent movies Zoe’s Having a Baby and How to Win a Prince. In 2022, Bruce married longtime girlfriend Paniz Zade in Florence, Italy.
