What is ‘Merry Swissmas’ About?

Alex (Jodie Sweetin) has wonderful memories of Christmas with her best friend Beth (Mikaela Lily Davies), until Beth started dating Alex’s ex, Jesse (David Pinard). Because she has missed the last few Christmases with family due to her demanding job as an architect, Alex is excited to spend the holidays with her mother Caroline (Jane Wheeler), who is opening an inn in Switzerland. Much to her dismay, she learns that Jesse and Beth are also visiting for the Inns’ opening. When Alex meets Liam (Tim Rozon), a single father and the manager of her mother’s inn, Liam attempts to show her all the Christmas traditions and culture of Switzerland and helps Alex open herself up to love and forgiveness this holiday season.

Jodie Sweetin as Alex

Jodie Sweetin portrays Alex in Merry Swissmas. She is an American actress, best known for her role in the popular 90’s sitcom, Full House as Stephanie Tanner. Later, she reprised her role as Stephanie in Netflix’s reboot, Fuller House.

The 40-year old actress married her husband, Mescal in 2022. Her former Full House co-stars all attended. See photos. She has two daughters.

Tim Rozon as Liam

He is a Canadian actor. You may recognize him from his role as Tommy Quincy in the popular teen series, Instant Star. The 46 year old actor is married. He married his wife and equestrian Linzey in 2015. Together, they have a son.

He won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actor, Drama for his role in “Wynonna Earp.”

In March, Jodie posted a photo on the set of Merry Swissmas with her co-star Tim. “It’s starting to feel like spring but we’re stuck in the Christmas vibes,” she wrote.

Tim was donning an adorable Mickey Mouse shirt while taking a selfie with his co-star in March on the movie set. “This was my face from the first day until the last day of filming with @jodiesweetin,” he wrote.
