What is Love on the Right Course about?

Whitney (Ashley Newbrough) is a professional golfer. She’s struggling to make the cut to qualify for her next tournament in Europe. Whitney decides to return to Budapest where her family owns a golf course to re-evaluate her career. When she arrives, she finds her reclusive, widowed father ((Roy McCrerey) has handed over operations to a laid-back golf pro named Daniel (Marcus Rosner). Daniel’s casual style is the total opposite of Whitney’s, literally throwing her off her game. As they get to know each other, their perspectives change and a romance develops. But, when Whitney’s former trainer returns and pushes Daniel out, it might just cost Whitney her best shot at love.

Who’s in the Cast of Love on the Right Course?

Ashley Newbrough as Whitney

Ashley Newbrough appeared in The Love Club on The W Network and Flipping for Christmas on Hallmark Channel. Flipping for Christmas was the movie she starred in with Marcus prior to this one. Ashley also starred in Privileged and recurred in Mistresses, Rent A Goalie and Degrassi: The Next Generation. Newbrough held roles in various Hallmark movies such as Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance, Love Under the Stars and Small Town Christmas. Originally from Toronto, Canada, the 36-year-old calls Los Angeles, California home. Ashley has been in a relationship with actor Matt Shively since 2017.

Marcus Rosner as Daniel

Marcus Rosner starred in Hallmark’s Notes of Autumn and Flipping for Christmas. He recurred on the network’s popular show When Calls the Heart and the movie Romance to the Rescue. Rosner appeared in TV series like Continuum, Arrow, Supernatural and Mistresses. In addition, Marcus recurred on Once Upon a Time, UnREAL and Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. The 34-year-old co-owns a production company called Northern Gateway Films in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
