At the end of a school year, teacher Amber (Sashaleigha Hightower) meets Connor (David Shawn McConnell), a single-dad searching for a tutor and nanny for his daughter, Macey. Amber joins Connor overseas in Aruba, watching over Macey while Connor focuses on work. Connor isn’t used to having a woman in the house again, but Amber’s sincerity helps bridge their awkwardness and bring the family together.

Sashaleigha Hightower as Amber

Sashaleigha is an American actress known for TV movies Romance in the Air, A Crafty Christmas Romance, Lights Camera Romance and Beauty and the Billionaire. In 2022, she guest starred on an episode of ABC’s The Rookie, and upcoming projects for Sashaleigha include The Last Page and The Cold Ground. Recently, she celebrated her husband Adam’s birthday with an Instagram dedication. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THIS INCREDIBLE MAN,” she wrote. They have two children together.

David Shawn McConnell as Connor

David is an American actor who is also known for his roles in TV movies such as Love Finds You in Sugarcreek, Cleveland Abduction, and like his co-star Sashaleigha, Romance in the Air. Other roles include Shattered Memories, The Fighting Preacher and Scarlett. Fans may also remember David from the 2011 movie The Ides of March. He is married to wife Alisha McConnell and they have two kids – a son and daughter.
