What is Just One Kiss About?

Mia (Krysta Rodriguez) is a professor starting a new chapter with her daughter Rosie (Ava Grace Cooper) after her marriage ends. On the other hand, Tony (Santino Fontana) is a bachelor and popular headliner in a Manhattan supper club whose great voice gained him tons of fans. One day, their mothers Marlene (Illeana Douglas) and Sofia (Aida Turturro) respectively, see their kids meet. The two play matchmaker, getting Mia to move into Tony’s building. So, of course they keep running into each other. Although, neither seems to mind much. But, can their meddling moms keep it up?

When Rosie bonds with Tony’s niece, Isabella (Alice Rose), the four continue to spend time together. As a result, Mia and Tony are drawn closer together. But, will Mia’s soon-to-be ex-husband’s return ruin everything? He’s not exactly ready to be completely out of the picture. Tony’s still recovering from heartbreak. However, can just one kiss get them their happy ever after?

Who’s in the Cast of Just One Kiss?

Krysta Rodriguez as Mia

Krysta Rodriguez starred as Liza Minnelli in the Netflix series Halston. She recently shot a pilot for TBS/Sony called Space. But, she doesn’t only do TV. In theater, she was Megara in Public Works’ production of Hercules. In addition, she played Anita in The Kennedy Center’s West Side Story. Other credits include Spring Awakening, In the Heights, and A Chorus Line (Revival).

She was nostalgic posting this in 2019. “You know that feeling when you think you haven’t changed much in 13 years and then you see this? Yeah that feeling. Spring Awakening on Broadway opening night Dec 10, 2006,” she wrote.

She captioned this stylish photo: “Channeling my inner Cher Horowitz.”

Santino Fontana as Tony

Santino Fontana received the 2019 Tony Award for his performance in Tootsie. He has starred in productions such as Act One, Cinderella and The Importance of Being Earnest. Santino lent his voice to Prince Hans in Disney’s Frozen. TV roles include Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Shades of Blue. Next up is the new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Santino wrote: “So happy to get to play with these friends…the recipe for ‘I Once Was A Man’ will be in Boise’s upcoming cocktail book. Check out all of season 4 on @primevideo.”

But, did you know he’s a musician too? “Promise to get some more music out in 2022…thx for listening though. Shocked and flattered,” he wrote.

Illeana Douglas as Marlene & Aida Turturro as Sofia

Illeana Douglas is known for Goodfellas, Goliath, and Search Party. Aida Turturro is best known for The Sopranos. But, they’ve done theater and other film work too.
