The Great American Family Channel is off to a great start. They kicked off their Great American Christmas lineup of amazing original movies and have a lot more in store as the season goes on. Viewers in Canada are wondering how they can get this channel. Is there a way to watch GAC, Great American Family in Canada or is it not available?
The short answer is no. The Great American Family Channel aka GAC is not available to watch in Canada, only the United States currently. In the United States, viewers have to sign up for streaming services such as Frndly TV, Hulu or Philo.
They have also called their cable providers to get the channel added to the package they have with DirecTV, Spectrum, etc.
The reason it isn’t available in Canada is because you would have to stream this channel using one of the popular US streaming services.
Good news for Canada viewers. Although GAC isn’t truly available in Canada, there is still a way to watch.
Canada viewers will have to work a little harder to watch this channel than their US fans. It is recommended that they use something called a VPN.
A VPN will be able to mask your IP address and server location, making it appear that you are from the US.
