Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace is the next installment in the movie series about the royal couple. The highly anticipated movie will be airing this Labor Day weekend on Monday, September 6, 2021.
Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace explores what really happened inside the palace that drove Harry (Dean) and Meghan (Morton) to leave everything behind in order to make a future for themselves and their son Archie in the United States.
The movie will detail Meghan’s growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment that “The Firm” was not defending them against the press attacks on their family and Harry’s fear that history would repeat itself just like it did with his mother, the late Princess Diana. Harry feared he would not be able to protect his wife and son from the same forces that may have contributed to his mother’s untimely death.
Lifetime’s Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace will examine the dynamics between his older brother Will (Whalen) and Harry, Duchess Kate (Mitchell) and Meghan, and Harry with Will and father Charles (Coulter), that lead to the ultimate break from the royal ties.
Jordan Dean as Harry
Jordan Dean is known for his roles in Marvel’s The Punisher on Netflix as well as playing Ludlow Fowler in Z: The Beginning of Everything on Amazon. He also starred in the Broadway play Macbth and American Psycho.
Sydney Morton as Meghan
Sydney Morton is best known for her role opposite Octavia Spencer in Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam CJ Walker and recurring as Alex on NBC’s Manifest. On Broadway, she acted alongside her Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace co-star, Jordan Dean in American Psycho. Sydney also toured in the National Tour of Flashdance.
Who Plays Prince William and Duchess Kate?
Jordan William will play Prince William and Laura Mitchell is the Duchess of Cambridge in the Lifetime movie about Harry and Meghan.
Maggie Sullivun plays Queen Elizabeth. Stephen Coulter is Prince Charles.
Sydney and Jordan were doing their rounds of press to promote their upcoming Lifetime film on the royal couple. “Princess) Mom and (Prince) Dad doing press,” she wrote.
Sydney was styled in Jimmy Choo shoes for her press rounds for the newest Lifetime movie.
