Happily Ever Emma Plot

Actress Emma Hutton (Monica Moore Smith) is determined to help find her friend Hope (Mikayla Iverson) a perfect match, but in doing so, she accidentally tramples on several hearts (including her own). When Emma realizes she herself has always loved her good friend Gray (Dan Fowlks), Emma learns love works best when she doesn’t meddle with it.

Also starring Sashleigha Hightower, this film is a charming romance inspired by Jane Austen’s “Emma.” It was previously known as “Lights, Camera, Romance” and “Lights, Camera, Emma.”

Monica Moore Smith as Emma

Monica is a 25-year-old actress, singer and dancer from Boca Raton, Florida. She’s known for the movies Romance in the Outfield: Double Play and Even in Dreams. Other notables of hers include Mission Stories, Saturday’s Warrior and Twice the Dream. Monica also has a podcast called That’s Moore Like It; her TikTok account has amassed 156K followers and 8M likes, where she talks about everything from beauty and fashion to relationships and life. She was married to Justin Mark Packer in 2018, but they divorced in 2020. Monica often connects with fans on social media, like TikTok or Instagram, so be sure to follow her @monicamooresmith.

Dan Fowlks as Gray

Dan is an actor, musician, husband and father. He actually starred in Romance in the Outfield: Double Play, but he and Monica’s characters weren’t paired up like they are in Happily Ever Emma. Fans may also recognize Dan from Barren, Love’s Gate or My One True Love. Upcoming for him are guest spots on television series The Crew and Bliss Maybe, plus a film called Love in Focus. Dan is married to wife Chantelle and they have 3 children together. You can see a family photo in this Instagram dedication he wrote to his wife last year.
