Lifetime is airing Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins Story as part of their new 2022 lineup. It follows the successful premiere of Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story on April 16. Likewise, it’s also produced with Bishop TD Jakes. However, this movie has a whole new cast. We have cast and plot info below, plus a trailer, photos and more. Interior decorator Zuri Maxwell (Monique Coleman) has it all. She has a career she adores, loving family and friends, and a good man in her life, artist Stephon Gardner (Nathan Witte). Zuri’s on top of the world. But, when you’re that far up, the only way you have to go is down.
When Zuri meets handsome entrepreneur Godfrey Anderson (Eric Benét) and his wealthy aunt Viv (LisaRaye McCoy), they have everything she thinks she wants. So, when Godfrey romances her, she compromises her values in an effort to become part of the rich world she’s desperately wanted for so long. Soon, greed threatens to destroy everything. Will Zuri be able to know when enough is enough?

Monique Coleman as Zuri Maxwell
Monique Coleman is an actress best known for her role as Taylor McKessie in the High School Musical franchise. Outside of that, Monique participated on Dancing with the Stars, and guested on shows like Stitchers and Family Reunion. She married Walter Jordan in 2012.
If you’re a fan of Lifetime holiday movies, then you may have seen Monique in A Christmas Dance Reunion which reunited her with former HSM costar Corbin Bleu. Of course, Monique’s partnership with Lifetime made her feel comfortable to take on another project with the network. She even posted a behind the scenes reel of filming Lifetime’s Greed, which you can see below.
Eric Benét as Godfrey Anderson
Eric Benét is an R&B singer and actor. In music, he’s been nominated for 4 Grammy awards. But, in acting, he’s known for Kaya and Real Husbands of Hollywood. Although, his docuseries A Closer Look with Eric Benét
Eric and Manuela attended the premiere of Magic Johnson’s Apple TV+ docuseries They Call Me Magic a couple days ago. He showed off his lovely wife on social media, writing: “Had to. #theycallmemagic @magicjohnson @thecookiej @manuelatestolini.”
He also shared his character’s poster for Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins Story on Lifetime. “Find out how selfish desires and power can ruin everything in my new movie #GreedonLifetime–the next installment of the network’s popular Seven Deadly Sins Anthology—premiering Saturday, April 23rd at 8/7c only on @lifetimetv @thereallraye1 @_moniquecoleman,” he wrote.

In addition, Troy Scott directed the film. Second, executive producers were Bishop TD Jakes, Derrick Williams, and Shaun Robinson. Third, Wuese Houston-Jibo wrote the script.
Like the previous movie, Greed was filmed in Canada. They filmed in Vancouver, specifically in the city of Langley. Filming took place in February. However, you may not be able to tell in the pictures since they are dressed to the nines. Check out some photos below.
