Lifetime is airing Christmas Movie Magic in December as part of their “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” event. It follows prior premieres of original holiday movies such as Secretly Santa. Read below for plot details, cast information and see a few photos from the film.
Christmas Movie Magic: What is the Movie About?
Entertainment writer Alli Blakeman (Holly Deveaux) is assigned a story covering the anniversary of a classic Christmas movie in the small town where it was filmed. She agrees to do the story on the condition that it could lead to a big promotion. When she meets a local theatre owner named Brad (Drew Seeley), they unravel the origins of the movie’s signature song, and Alli learns that movie magic isn’t always just onscreen.
Who is in the Christmas Movie Magic Cast?
Holly Deveaux as Alli Blakeman
Holly Deveaux is a Canadian actress known for her roles in the television series Baxter and Spun Out. She also held recurring roles in Shadowhunters, Less Than Kind, and The Mist. In 2020, she guest starred on an episode of MacGyver, and in 2021, you may have seen her in a guest role on Supergirl.
Drew Seeley as Brad
Drew Seeley is known for his work with the Walt Disney Company, including providing the singing voice to the character of Troy Bolton in High School Musical. In 2008, he starred as Joey Parker in Another Cinderella Story alongside Selena Gomez. He portrayed Jason Wilson in the TBS series Glory Daze, which ran from 2010-2011. Since then, Drew’s held roles in TV films including He Knows Your Every Move, Lethal Admirer, and A Christmas for the Books. But, perhaps the role he loves most is of husband to wife Amy Paffrath and father to their daughter Ember.

Jennifer Gibson
Known for acting in “A Dog’s Way Home” and “Suits,” Jennifer Gibson lends her acting talents to Christmas Movie Magic playing Stacy.
Jennifer on her experience with “Christmas Movie Magic”:
“Friends, I can not be more proud of this movie. I have been a part of many Christmas movies, but this is by far the most special. To make a movie with Rob and Georgia, that is an homage to the movies was a dream come true. The entire cast and crew worked their butts off and it really shows. Fun fact: I was once an extra in ‘Another Cinderella Story’ starring the magnificent @drewseeley, and 12 years later I’m playing his sister.
If all this wasn’t enough, Rob dedicated this movie to my Dad’s memory. I can’t get through this post without weeping! I hope you can all see it. It airs tonight in Canada on @superchannel @schearthome , and Dec 7 in the US on @lifetimetv”

Arcade Riley
Arcade is an actor and writer who is known for “Gamer’s Paradise.” He will also be appearing in Christmas Movie Magic on Lifetime.
He is also a soccer fan. You can see a photo he posted saying “TFC with my boys.” It looks like he enjoys sports as he was also at a basketball game for the Toronto Raptors.
This guy really loves to play games. You can see him in photos at Ubisoft and then this super fun one where is he is participating in a “Nerf War” complete with top of the line Nerf guns.
As a Canadian, his summers are somewhat short but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t hit the beach! Arcade likes to hang out with his guy friends at the beach. Where, you might ask? Well it looks like he likes to hang out in Cuba! In this picture you can also see actor friend, Brandon Ludwig who is a content creator and Epic gamer who participates in Gamer’s Paradise just like Arcade.
