‘Caught in His Web’ is an original Lifetime Channel movie, based on a true story and actual events. Lifetime has released a whole lineup of brand new movies for their 2022 schedule. This premiere follows last weekend’s premiere of Line Sisters. ‘Caught in His Web’ airs on February 19, 2022.
What is Caught in His Web About?
Caught in His Web on Lifetime is based on actual events. It tells the story of three young ladies named Emma, Olivia, and Gabby who are unknowingly all in contact with a cyberbully named Blake. Every day they are getting tormented with demands to send nude photos. One by one, Blake starts hacking into their cell phones and computers and continually harasses the three girls.
They feel trapped, ridden with anxiety and depression, the girls start to discover they aren’t the only ones in this situation. Emma, Olivia and Gabby decide to come together in hopes to take down Blake with the help of Detective Holland. Will they finally be able to put their nightmare to bed?

Garcelle Beauvais as Detective Holland
Garcelle Beauvais is a 55 year old actress who is best known for her roles in The Jamie Foxx Show and the crime drama series NYPD Blue.
She was married twice. The first time to producer, Daniel Saundeers whom she has one son with, named Oliver born in 1991. Garcelle then went on to marry talent agent, Mike Nilon in 2001. They share twin sons, Jax and Jaid together. The twins were born on October 18, 2007. Unfortunately her marriage to Mike ended in divorce, being finalized in 2010.
Garcelle shared a family photo with her sons at Christmas time to Instagram. “Christmas Blessings,” she wrote.

Alison Thorton as Emma
Alison is a 22-year old Canadian-American actress. You may recognize her from her role as Zooey Hernandez in Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. She is the face of her upcoming Lifetime movie “Caught in His Web.”
In September 2021, she posted a cute selfie of herself with her two co-stars from the Lifetime movie with the caption, “That’s a 🌯 cyberbabes <3”
She has also been seen in Nancy Drew and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit recently. In a photo with her co-stars, Alison wrote “Hope you enjoyed last night’s episode of SVU”
Olivia
Malia Baker as Olivia
Malia Baker is a 15-year old American actress. Fans will best recognize her from ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ and as Mary Anne on Netflix’s Babysitter’s Club reboot.
On Instagram, Malia posted a snowy picture with the caption, “Since bsc is less than a week away…”
Back in April of 2021, Malia snapped a cute selfie with all her BSC co-stars. “It’s a wrap!”
Malia announced her role in the Lifetime movie, “Caught in His Web” which is a Whoopi Goldberg produced film in September 2021. “The secret’s out! So excited for you guys to see #caughtinhisweb on Lifetime in 2022. Such an honour working with these talented humans and cannot wait for what’s in store. Here we go ;),” she said.
Gabby
Emma Tremblay as Gabby
Emma Tremblay is a 17 year old Canadian actress. She is best known for her roles on Supergirl and Wayward Pines. She is the older sister of child actor Jacob Tremblay and Erica Tremblay.
Emma has a very minimal social media presence. Only in November 2021 did she post a few photos from a Mexico trip to Instagram.
