‘Caribbean Summer’ is getting added to the lineup of original movies on the Hallmark Channel. It will be part of the Summer Nights movie event, premiering one weekend after Hidden Gems. Get all the details on the cast, plot, and see photos below.
A morning news producer named Jade (Hemmens) gets forced to take a vacation after an on-air blunder during a broadcast. She thinks all her worries are behind her when she arrives in the sunny Caribbean. However, she didn’t count on a rocky start when there’s a snafu involving the house she rented.
In typical Jade fashion, she is able to turn her trip right around. When she meets the mysterious owner of the house named Ford (Blain), the two spark an unexpected romance. Just as Jade starts letting her guard down and enjoying all the island has to offer, her heart and job come into conflict when she discovers the truth about Ford.
How will Jade handle this newfound information? Will she follow her heart and start a new life with Ford or leave it all behind?

Heather Hemmens is an American actress who is best known for her roles on the Netflix comedy, Stop Embarrassing Me and the OWN series, If Loving You is Wrong.

The 33 year old actress hails from Maine and has a black belt in martial arts and weapons training.
This will not be the only time you see Heather in a Hallmark Channel movie. She announced a multi-picture deal on Instagram.

Ser’Darius Blain as Ford
Ser’Darius Blain is a Haitian-American actor. The 35-year old is best known for his role on the CW’s “Charmed.”
He posted a loving picture of he and his son hanging out on his Instagram profile with the hashtag #boydad.
At the end of March, Ser’Darius posted a behind the scenes photo of he and his Caribbean Summer co-star, Heather Hemmens on the set. “3 Goats. One picture. 🐐 lol Having a blast filming #CaribbeanSummer #movie with the beautiful @heatherhemmens
