What’s the Movie About?

The Amish world has always fascinated outsiders with its insular community and 18th century lifestyle that shuns the temptations of modernity. But all is not as wholesome as it seems. Inspired by true stories, Amish Sin follows Rachel (Dylan Ratzlaff), an Amish teen who refuses to obey her parent’s command that she marry the man who abused her as a child.

When she attempts to run away, she is caught and sent to a “rehab” for Amish girls who don’t follow the rules. Managing to escape from the facility, she makes her way to a neighboring city where she has to learn to live – and find her place — in our world. Also stars Kellie Martin as Rachel’s mother Sara and Rukiya Bernard  as Grace, 

who befriends Rachel when she leaves the Amish community.

Dylan Ratzlaff as Rachel

She is a Canadian dancer who competes with Project Dance in Vancouver. She is 21 years old from Vancouver, Canada. You may recognize her from Doomsday Mom on Lifetime as well as the Descendants 3 as a dancer.

Kellie Martin as Rachel’s mother

She is an American actress.  You may recognize her from ER, Mystery Woman, and the Hailey Dean Mysteries.

The 46 year old actress is from Riverside, California.  She has been married to her husband Keith Christian since 1999.  They have two children together.

Rukiya Bernard as Grace

She is a Canadian actress and producer.  She is well known for her roles in The Cabin in the Woods and Can Helsing.  

The 39 year old actress is from Toronto, Canada.  She has two children.
