A World Record Christmas is a new original holiday film premiering November 16, 2023 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The film is inspired by real-life Guinness World Record holder Auldin Maxwell, and is part of the network’s annual Miracles of Christmas event. What is A World Record Christmas about?

Charlie (Aias Dalman) is an autistic boy. He wants to set a Guinness World Record by stacking 1,400 Jenga blocks. His mother Marissa (Nikki DeLoach) and stepfather Eric (Lucas Bryant) encourage him to reach for his dream. They all celebrate when he gets the good news that he’ll get his chance on Christmas Eve. With his father mostly absent from his life, Charlie hopes that setting the record will draw him back in. Meanwhile, Marissa and Eric have hit a lull in their relationship. But, they are working at igniting the spark once again.

As Charlie prepares for his record attempt by practicing his Jenga stacking skills, he gets an idea. He wants to organize a fundraiser that gives the townspeople an opportunity to donate and decorate a Jenga block, with the proceeds going to benefit kids with autism. Charlie’s journey to setting the Jenga world record gives them all the chance to learn more about what family really means.

Who’s in the Cast of A World Record Christmas?

Nikki DeLoach as Marissa

Nikki DeLoach is an American actress. She got her big break on The Mickey Mouse Club alongside Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Ryan Gosling. Since then, DeLoach has appeared in many Hallmark/Hallmark Movies & Mysteries films including the Curious Caterer Mysteries, The Gift of Peace, Christmas Land, A Dream of Christmas, Two Turtle Doves and Cranberry Christmas. Other roles include MTV’s Awkward as well as guest spots on shows like CSI and NCIS. The 44-year-old lives in Los Angeles with her husband Ryan Goodell and two kids.

Lucas Bryant as Eric

Lucas Bryant is a Canadian actor. He appeared in various Hallmark films including Five More Minutes: Moments Like These, The Angel Tree, Time for You to Come Home for Christmas and Country at Heart. Additional credits include television series’ Haven, CSI and Cracked. Bryant also starred in the popular feature film The Vow. The 45-year-old is married to wife Kirsty Hinchcliffe with whom he has two children.

Aias Dalman as Charlie

Aias Dalman is a 13-year-old autistic actor. He enjoys bringing authentic representation to his roles. When Time Got Louder is only one example of his work. Dalman held supporting roles in Lifetime’s Doomsday Mom and House of Chains. But, that’s not all he’s good at. Aias is an accomplished screenwriter, with awards from TIFF and the Young Filmmakers Showcase. The Canadian actor likes math, astronomy and coding. When he’s not working, Aias spends time with his family.
