A Taste of Tuscany is another romantic comedy that is part of the Great American Family Channel lineup! It will re-air in January 2023 and stars Laura Mitchell & Brad Johnson. In January, GAC will also offer original movie premieres such as Fall Into Winter starring Lori Loughlin.

What is the Movie About?

April is an uptight health-chef guru on the verge of notoriety, but her brand of cooking is failing. Despite her assurances healthy is tasty, those who have tried her recipes disagree. Her cookbook publisher and publicity team are thinking about dropping her. Unwilling to give up on her hard work and career, April vows to reinvent herself. She goes to Italy to learn how to incorporate the country’s notorious rich culture of food in her own recipes. There, she meets Rob, a brilliant chef hoping to open his own restaurant someday. Between Rob and the Italian cuisine, April finds new joy and freedom in life and cooking—and also love. It allows her to see what she’s been missing. With that, she discovers she needs to start living and enjoying life to bring out its best flavors.

Laura Mitchell

Laura Mitchell is an actor out of the west coast of Vancouver. She was born in Singapore before moving to the BC when she was only 3 years old.

You may recognize her best from films and shows like Finding Santa on Hallmark, October Kiss, and Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance.

Brad Johnson

Brad is known for his roles in movies like Waffle Street, Scents and Sensibility, and Switched for Christmas opposite Candace Cameron Bure.

He isn’t a stranger to television. It’s in the family! His mother was a hairstylist to the stars and two of his brothers are actors as well. Brad and his wife announced that they will be welcoming a new addition to the family!
