Hallmark Channel is beginning to roll out films for its annual Spring into Love programming event in 2023. One new title that will premiere this spring is A Picture of Her, starring Tyler Hynes and Rhiannon Fish. It joins other original films including Game of Love and A Paris Proposal on the network. What is A Picture of Her About?

Beth (Rhiannon Fish) works on her dad’s salmon boat which is nestled in a picturesque fishing village. When her Aunt Dody (Samantha Ferris) breaks her leg and has no family to help her, Beth offers to go visit her in Los Angeles, California. Meanwhile, Jake (Tyler Hynes) is a freelance photojournalist who goes by the name of “Shutterbot” and dreams of a career as a fine arts photographer. Until his big break, he accepts assignments from his friend at a popular weekly newspaper, and his next gig is to shoot springtime at a farmers market. It’s there he snaps a great candid photo of Beth at a flower stand and inadvertently, includes it with his assignment. When it ends up winning the weekly news cover, it becomes an overnight sensation.

Jake is unexpectedly surprised when he meets Beth at a dog park, and he wants to find a way to get to know her without her guessing who he is. As their friendship grows, Jake becomes smitten with Beth, who, because of the photo, finds herself fielding offers from modeling agencies and talk show invites. Swept up by her newfound fame and encouraged by her aunt, Beth agrees to appear in a commercial, where she discovers Jake’s been the mystery photographer all along. Shocked and hurt by this, Beth takes off for her boat, leaving Jake desperate to explain what happened. Leave it to Beth’s Aunt Dody to cook up a scheme upon realizing her niece and Jake are in love. Can Dody reunite Beth and Jake in time?

Who’s in the Cast of A Picture of Her?

Tyler Hynes as Jake

Tyler is a Canadian actor who is very familiar to Hallmark fans thanks to his many movie roles. Most recently were “Three Wise Men and a Baby” on Hallmark Channel and “Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas” on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Other titles include: An Unexpected Christmas, Roadhouse Romance, Sweet Carolina, and It Was Always You. In television, Hynes held roles on The Firm, UnREAL, Saving Hope and Letterkenny. Rhiannon Fish as Beth

Rhiannon is a Canadian actress known worldwide for her role as Ontari in The CW’s The 100. After making her debut on the Australian series Neighbours, she was cast in another Australian series called Home and Away. This led to her becoming a household name in Australia. Aside from that, Fish has appeared in numerous Hallmark films, including A Splash of Love, Journey of My Heart, The 27-Hour Day and You’re Bacon Me Crazy. The 31-year-old made headlines for dating former The 100 costar Richard Harmon. Although, it’s unclear if the duo are still together today.
