Hallmark Channel kicks off a partnership with the Kansas City Chiefs and NFL Films to bring fans their newest movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Starring Tyler Hynes and Hunter King, the film follows a football superfan who falls for someone who works for the Chiefs. In addition to Hynes and King’s lead roles, cameo appearances include Jenna Bush Hager, Donna Kelce, Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Richard Riehle, Christine Ebersole, Richard Christie and Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid alongside many of the Kansas City Chiefs players. What is Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story about?
Alana Higman (Hunter King) is sure her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a frontrunner to win the team’s “Fan of the Year” contest. Derrick (Tyler Hynes) is the Director of Fan Engagement, who is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them. But when her grandfather’s (Ed Begley Jr.) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick – unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary.

Hunter King as Alana
Hunter King is an American actress. Career highlights include Hollywood Heights, The Young and the Restless, A Girl Like Her, Life in Pieces and a variety of Hallmark movies. Most recently, you may have seen her in Hallmark’s The Professional Bridesmaid or The Santa Summit. For her work on The Young and the Restless, King is a two-time Daytime Emmy winner. Her sister is fellow actress Joey King. Currently, Hunter’s dating film technician and assistant director Chris Copier.
Tyler Hynes as Derrick
Tyler Hynes is a Canadian actor who is very familiar to Hallmark fans. He’s starred in numerous movies for the network, including Three Wise Men and a Baby, It Was Always You, Never Been Chris’d, An Unexpected Christmas, On the 12th Date of Christmas and A Picture of Her. Additional credits include Letterkenny, Saving Hope, Unreal, as well as the upcoming sequel Three Wiser Men and a Boy, and Hallmark Plus’ Groomsmen trilogy. When he’s not working, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, interacting with fans on social media platforms like Instagram, traveling, and spending time with his dog.
