Great American Family continues to roll out new movies with the premiere of A Royal Date for Christmas on November 25, 2023. Starring Danica McKellar and Damon Runyan, the film follows a designer who doesn’t know she’s dressing a duke. A Royal Date for Christmas Plot
Bella Sparks (Danica McKellar) is the owner of Bella Sparks Couture. She takes on a demanding new client “Stefan” (Damon Runyan) to outfit for a week of high stakes meetings and events after his luggage goes missing. Stefan asks Bella to be his “official plus one” for many of the formal soirees, a request she accepts with good humor. Imagine Bella’s reaction when she accidentally discovers “Stefan” is Stefan William Francis Brown, the Duke of Tangford.

Danica McKellar as Bella Sparks
Danica McKellar is an American actress. One of her most notable roles is Winnie Cooper on TV’s The Wonder Years. In addition, she voiced Miss Martian in the animated series Young Justice. McKellar competed on season 18 of Dancing with the Stars and has starred in numerous Hallmark and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries films. For GAC, Danica appeared in The Winter Palace, Christmas at the Drive-In and Swing into Romance. She is married to Scott Sveslosky. Danica has one child from her previous marriage to Mike Verta.
Damon Runyan as Duke Stefan William Francis Brown
Damon Runyan is a Canadian actor. He appeared in Star Trek: Discovery and Gangland Undercover. Other credits include Suits, Haven, Nikita, Supernatural, Lost Girl, Covert Affairs and Degrassi: The Next Generation. Runyan won the Best Actor Award in the 2013 National Film Challenge for his short film Cassidy, which he wrote, directed and produced. Damon’s also starred in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Sound of Christmas, and Hallmark Channel’s Valentine Ever After, One Starry Christmas and Christmas Festival of Ice. He is married to Jodie Dowdall with whom he has one child.
