Hallmark Channel continues to roll out new movies this season, including Game of Love. Starring Kimberley Sustad and Brooks Darnell, the film joins other originals such as A Paris Proposal and Sweeter Than Chocolate. Below are details on the plot, cast, plus photos and the premiere date.
What is Game of Love About?
Audrey Watson (Kimberley Sustad) is in charge of developing a new board game about love. To make sure things happen in a timely fashion, she’s paired with marketing consultant Matthew Reynolds (Brooks Darnell). The only problem is that these two have entirely different ways of working and views on the subject of love. After disastrous attempts working together, they realized they let their own dating mistakes influence their game creation.
Audrey’s too independent while Matt is preoccupied with making the right first impression. In order to build a successful game, both have to figure out how to work together. Unexpectedly, helping each other leads to a deeper attraction. But, when the game risks being canceled, Audrey gets cold feet and pushes Matthew away. To hold onto everything that matters to her, she must confront her fears and find the right way to win the game of love.

Who’s in the Cast?
Kimberley Sustad as Audrey Watson
Kimberley is a Canadian actress known for Travelers, Unspeakable and The Twilight Zone. She is also a familiar face to Hallmark Channel fans, starring in The Nine Lives of Christmas, The Nine Kittens of Christmas and Lights Camera Christmas. The 35-year-old is married to husband Scot Sustad and they have two children.
Brooks Darnell as Matthew Reynolds
Brooks is an American actor known for The Young and the Restless and Shadowhunters. Hallmark Channel fans will know him from A Winter Getaway and Holiday Heritage. When he’s not acting, he can be found enjoying music, photography and fitness. In December 2022, he signed a multi-picture deal with Hallmark, so safe to say we’ll be seeing more of Brooks on the network.
