After her latest gallery exhibition literally goes up in flames, struggling artist Liv James accepts a teaching job at a local elementary school to make ends meet. Through this reluctant career move she discovers her true self, a new sense of purpose and a surprising romance.

Brigitte Kingsley as Liv
Brigitte is a Canadian actress known for roles in TV movies such as From Friend to Fiancé, Christmas with a View and Home for Harvest. More recently, you may have seen her in GAC’s My Boss’ Wedding and UPTV’s Sappy Holiday. The 46-year-old actress is married to husband, actor Andrew Cymek.
Joe Towne as Jake
Joe is a New York actor who has held roles in films like Isn’t It Romantic? and in television shows like Friends in Therapy. In addition to acting, Joe’s a producer and director. In 2011, he married wife Erin Cardillo and they have one child together.
