Recently married Alisa Jensen (Ryan Michelle Bathe) has given up her vibrant Manhattan lifestyle for a quiet existence in rural Connecticut. But, she is struggling to adjust to her new role as a stepmother to Maya (Cassandra Sawtell) and Theo (Mikkal Karim-Fidler). Hoping this move can be a fresh start, Alisa finds herself cracking under the pressure. Her husband Chris (Luke Camilleri) is constantly away at work, she’s got limited job prospects, and a rebellious Maya to contend with. But when Alisa begins to hear strange noises in the house, she can’t shake the feeling that someone is always watching her. Alisa later makes a terrifying discovery of what is truly within the walls. Jonathan Whitesell stars as Joe, who is secretly watching Alisa and her family.

Ryan Michelle Bathe is an American actress. She was a series regular on BET’s First Wives Club. Recently, Ryan co-starred in NBC’s The Endgame. Bathe recurred on series such as This is Us, All Rise, Empire and Army Wives. Married to actor Sterling K. Brown since 2006, they have two children together.
Luke Camilleri (Hemlock Grove) Cassandra Sawtell (Disappearance in Yellowstone), Mikkal Karim-Fidler (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and Jonathan Whitesell (The X-Files) round out the cast.
Behind the Scenes of Filming Boy in the Walls
Producer/director Constance Zimmer posted behind the scenes photos from set in March. Apparently, they filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. “I started and wrapped shooting on my first feature on Friday’s, so I’ll take #femalefilmmakerfriday as a celebration and another accomplishment! I’m wiped out, but grateful for the experience with my cast, my #canadian crew and my partner in crime @__manuboyer__ who were ALL beyond stellar,” she on Instagram.

Boy in the Walls premieres on Saturday August 5 at 8p/7c, only on Lifetime.
