What is Dying in Plain Sight about?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Overweight high school student Morgan Cruz (Raffa Virago) and her mother Kim (Nicola Correia-Damude) both have secrets that lead to devastating circumstances. When Kim leaves her cheating husband, she becomes focused on “clean eating.” But, what she doesn’t notice is that Morgan has stopped eating altogether. Morgan receives positive validation for her changing body, but begins to experience the terrible side effects of her disorder. Her cries for help fall on deaf ears until she’s hospitalized for life-threatening malnutrition. This leads Kim to realize how her own disordered eating was a terrible influence on her daughter Morgan, pushing her to the brink of death. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
