‘Open by Christmas’ on Hallmark Channel Plot – What is the Movie About?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alison Sweeney portrays Nicky in ‘Open by Christmas.’ While Nicky is helping her parents move, she discovers a card that was supposed to be given to her in her high school days that she never knew even existed. You guessed it. In the card, a secret admirer confides their true emotions towards Nicky. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicky enlists the support and help of her lifelong best friend Simone (Durance) as she is set on a mission to find the identity of the anonymous author. Meanwhile, Simone is dealing with her own issues. As a single mother, she is afraid she is losing touch with her growing teenage son, especially as she plans on re-marrying and starting a new chapter of her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, best friends Nicky and Simone together help find answers to the past and present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alison Sweeney as Nicky<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alison Sweeney is best recognized for her longtime role on the daytime soap opera, “Days of Our Lives.” At the tender age of 4 years old, Sweeney first started her acting career. When Sweeney turned sweet 16, she debuted as Sami Brady on ‘Days.’ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you know Alison not only acts but she also produces? That’s right. Sweeney stars and produces “Chronicle Mysteries” and “Hannah Swensen Mysteries” both for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 45-year old actor married her husband David Sanov in 2000. Together, they have two children, a son Benjamin and daughter Megan. You can see Alison with her daughter after she competed in a horse show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
