Erin Allen (Pascale Hutton) is a single mother. Her 12-year-old daughter Kiera (Sophia Powers, \u201cUnexpected Grace\u201d) loves football and plays in the junior flag football league. At practice, Erin runs into the coach’s brother, professional football player Mike Hanson (Ryan Paevey). Erin and Mike are blindsided \u2013 they were college sweethearts. Mike’s visiting his brother Jimmy (Dan Payne, “Outrunners\u201d). But, he also got injured in football, diminishing his chance at a championship ring. When Jimmy gets the call to coach the high school team, Mike steps up as the flag football coach. As Erin and Mike spend time together, old sparks are rekindled despite Erin\u2019s hesitance. Right before the championship game, Mike receives good news but also an unsettling truth. Meanwhile, Erin learns to go after what she wants \u2013 and they both learn to follow their hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pascale Hutton as Erin Allen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pascale Hutton appeared in You Had Me at Aloha<\/a> and currently stars in When Calls the Heart for Hallmark Channel. She’s a Canadian actress, earning a Gemini for her work on CBC’s Intelligence, as well as a Leo for her work on SyFy’s Sanctuary. Aside from her 9-year role in When Calls the Heart, Hutton has starred in other films for the network, such as The Perfect Bride and My One and Only. The 44 year old is married to husband Danny Dorosh with whom she has two children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
