Ni\u2019Cola Mitchell (Tatyana Ali) is an author, publisher and speaker who realizes that her calling is to help disadvantaged girls. Ni\u2019Cola knows what it\u2019s like to overcome huge hurdles in life, including a difficult childhood and a cancer diagnosis. After putting her career on hold, she launches Girls Who Brunch, with events designed to make young women feel seen and empowered. With the support of her sister Nene (Nadine Whiteman Roden) and daughters Diamond (Kudakwashe Rutendo) and Destani (Mikalah Reid-Beckette), she puts everything she has into the organization, mobilizing volunteers, coaches and community leaders to help host events. When Ni\u2019Cola is named A Woman of Worth by L\u2019Or\u00e9al, sponsorship opportunities begin to come in, allowing Girls Who Brunch to expand nationally, traveling to dozens of cities across the country and reaching tens of thousands of girls in the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
