Based on the book by Lizzie Shane, Sweeter Than Chocolate follows Lucy Sweet (Eloise Mumford), who owns a chocolate shop that’s become a Valentine’s Day mecca. Ever since the rumor spread of eating one of her special Cupid chocolates on February 14th leads to finding true love, reporter Dean Chase (Dan Jeannotte) sets out to debunk the local legend. The last thing Lucy wants to do is let anything threaten her shop, so she decides to take part in Dean’s research, interviewing couples who swear by her chocolates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As interviews continue, Dean gets to know Lucy better and he begins to wonder if his take on romance has been completely wrong. When his boss insists Dean do a live feed from Lucy’s shop on Valentine’s Day, interest begins to build around the truth behind Lucy’s store. Although, when one of her happy couples end in disaster, Lucy wonders if she’s been misleading everyone with naive faith. When she’s ready to admit defeat, Dean comes to the rescue, convincing her that putting more love into the world is a good thing, even if there might be some heartache along the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
