Family History Mysteries<\/strong>: Buried Past<\/strong> is a new series to join the 2023 lineup for the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel<\/a>. It will kick off the new year! The mystery will premiere on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 7pm EST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is it About?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sophie McClaren (Parrish) is a genealogist who\u2019s an expert at digging up the past and
bringing families together. When her close friend Jonathan (Morgan David Jones, \u201cMurdoch
Mysteries\u201d) urgently needs to find a bone marrow donor, it brings his twin brother (and Sophie\u2019s old flame) Jackson (Matter) back into her life. With Jackson\u2019s help, Sophie must use her skills to track down the brothers\u2019 long-lost birth father \u2013 a man they never even knew existed \u2013 in time to save Jonathan\u2019s life. Ultimately, growing closer to Jackson on this search gives Sophie the push to finally explore the mystery of her own adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
