Lifetime Channel will be airing 6 new original movies based off true stories for the summer 2021 lineup. ‘Left for Dead: The Ashley Reeves Story’ is based on a true story of a teenage girl <\/strong>who fought for her life three times. It stars Jennie Garth and Anwen O\u2019Driscoll and is the third in the lineup following ‘Soccer Mom Madam.’<\/a> The film was shot in Ontario, Canada. A few scenes were filmed at the Scottish Rite Club of Hamilton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anwen O’Driscoll portrays Ashley Reeves<\/strong>, the 17-year old girl left for dead in the woods following a brutal attack. After enduring nearly 30 hours in the freezing cold, lying in the dirt, and paralyzed, the police find Ashley alive. Her injuries are so severe that she has to re-learn how to walk and talk again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Though she has no memory of what heppened to her during the attack, she begins a long recovery searching her shattered memory to uncover what took place and who did this to her. She had to fight for her life three separate times; in the woods, in the hospital and in court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anwen O’Driscoll as Ashley Reeves<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Anwen O’Driscoll is a Canadian-born actress. She is known for her roles in Emerald Code and October Faction. Anwen was born on July 4, 1999. <\/p>\n\n\n\n She posted a short video of a trivia challenge she took part in to Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
