‘Twas the Night Before Christmas<\/strong> is joining the 2022 Countdown to Christmas lineup on Hallmark Channel<\/a>. This brand-new film will premiere on December 17, 2022.<\/strong> It’s inspired by the Troy, New York Tradition and is based on the play, The Trial Before Christmas. Madison (Torrey DeVitto) is an actress who is trying to shake off her well-known catchphrase and broaden her career in directing. A play\/mock trial is the perfect opportunity to prove her skills in Troy, New York. The show features two lawyers debating whether ‘A Visit from Saint Nick’ was authored by Clement Clark Moore or Henry Livingston Jr. and has the audience decide as the jury. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madison casts an old costar, Connor (Zane Holtz) who is struggling to balance acting with being a dad to his young daughter Josie. Despite feeling a spark with Connor, Madison sticks to her “never date an actor” rule. Also joining the show are two cosplayers who are very convincing in their portrayals. However, less convincing is the lead actress, Lena whose sole qualifications are hand modeling and the fact she’s dating the producer. Soon, Madison worries her directing debut will be a total flop. But, with support from the town and Connor, she’s determined to make it all work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Torrey DeVitto as Madison <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Torrey is an American actress perhaps best known for her six-season role as Natalie Manning on NBC’s Chicago Med. Fans may also recognize Torrey from her stints on Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill or Army Wives. Most recently, Torrey appeared in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Rip in Time. Outside of acting, she’s an accomplished violinist, certified in Reiki and a dedicated advocate for women’s rights, health and animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
