Nancy Raney, Cari Farver’s mother recounts one night when she had a very vivid dream. Cari’s father who had passed away, came to Cari’s mother in this dream and said, “Nancy don’t worry about her. She’s with me.” “But of course I always kept hoping that we would find her,” she explained getting choked up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About 5 months after Cari disappeared, she received a phone call. “I get a call from this gentleman telling me Cari is in this women’s homeless shelter,” she explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the first big lead they had. Nancy immediately rushed off to the women’s homeless shelter to pick up her daughter. The police met her there and went in first but came back out shaking their heads. Cari wasn’t there. “It was such a let down,” Nancy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cari’s mom was relieved after a judge ruled in her daughter’s case as a guilty verdict. “Every time we’d get a new email, text, phone rang or a new Facebook thing someone got was all horrifying,” her mother told reporters. “All of them worked so hard to come to this conclusion, I’m just so thankful,” Nancy said about all of the people involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
