Girl in Room 13 Plot Line – What’s It About?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by actual events,<\/strong> Girl in Room 13<\/em> examines the story of Grace (Larissa Dias), who was addicted to opioids after her doctor prescribed them for a sports injury at a very young age. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a few tries at rehab, Grace is ready to get her life back on track. Under the watchful eye of her mother, Janie (Anne Heche), Grace takes on a job at her family\u2019s restaurant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But her past comes back to haunt her when her friend coerces her into meeting her former love interest and drug dealer, Richie (Max Montesi). She finds herself imprisoned in a hotel room with no way out. Richie continuously violates Grace, forcing her to take drugs and drink alcohol. This is all done in an attempt to break her down so much that he can sell her into human trafficking. Refusing to give up on her daughter even when her husband and the local police believe Grace has returned to a life of using, Janie starts an all-out hunt to find Grace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stopping at nothing, Janie discovers the dark world of human trafficking and the shocking statistics about its widespread victims and its unexpected accomplices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 28 year old actress stars as Grace, a girl dealing with her opioid addiction and bad choices in company. She is a Latina film star who was raised in Brazil. You may recognize her from the Hallmark Channel’s “When Calls the Heart.” She starred as Katie Yost from 2016-2021. Since, she is also starring as Jessa in Supernatural Academy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
