What is Cruel Instruction About?

This movie tells the true story of 16-year old Kayla Adams. When Kayla is expelled from school, her mother, Karen Adams is called in. She is advised by the school’s counselor to send Kayla to a youth residential treatment center. When the teenager arrives at the Utah facility on the same day as her roommate Amanda, a treatment program veteran knows what the girls should be expecting.

The entire facility led by the headmistress Miss Connie uses draconian methods to their patients. They use force-feeding medicines, solitary confinement and abuse. When the girls are stripped from communicating with the outside world, the young girls have to work together in order to survive and expose the abuse to the world.
