What is Single Black Female About?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

‘Single Black Female’ tells the story of envy. After suffering with the death of her father and a difficult breakup, Monica (Raven Goodwin) is trying to move forward with her life. She is thrilled when she lands a sought after hosting job for an afternoon talk show. Simone (Amber Riley) who is her new assistant also quickly becomes her close friend. Simone moves in right next door to Monica and completely immerses herself in Monica’s life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, underneath her sweet exterior lives a dark secret she is harboring. Once cracks in her facade begin to appear, Monica wants to sever all ties with her once close friend and assistant. Simone has other plans and is determined to take over Monica’s entire life for good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raven Goodwin is a popular American actress. You may recognize her from her roles on Disney Channel’s “Good Luck Charlie” and on FOX’s “Glee.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raven announced her engagement to finance executive Wiley Battle in 2019 and the couple tied the knot in 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
