What is Girl in the Shed: The Kidnapping of Abby Hernandez About?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Girl in the Shed: The Kidnapping of Abby Hernandez<\/em><\/strong> tells the true story of 14-year old freshman, Abby Hernandez. Abby (Lindsay Navarro) vanished while walking home from her high school in New Hampshire. This kicked off a statewide search for Abby, leaving her mom Zenya and the entire community contemplating her whereabouts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abby was kidnapped by Kibby (Ben Savage). She was then kept in a soundproof container and forced to wear a shock collar while enduring psychological, sexual and emotional abuse. Even though Abby was undergoing such intense mental abuse, she kept hope alive that she would one day see her family and friends again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lindsay Navarro as Abby Hernandez<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lindsay Navarro is a young Canadian born actress. She is a Christian. The very first thing she says in her Instagram bio says “Love God, love people.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lindsay was thrilled to announce her Lifetime project with her followers on Instagram. She said, “After much waiting, I can share this now!! \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffd
I\u2019m so thankful to have been involved in bringing this incredible story of courage to the screen. Abby and Zenya are tremendous women.
