The Abigail Mysteries Mysteries Plot

Abby Broukes (Ansley Gordon) is struggling to come to terms with the loss of her baby and divorce. The podcaster moves back to her hometown and uncovers a mystery surrounding the death of her neighbor. Following the clues left behind, Abby works with childhood crush turned local cop Matt (Bret Green). He secretly has feelings for Abby, so will their mutual attraction finally be known?

Deadline was the first to report the movie news in March. The film was originally titled Mysteries of the Heart. Actress and screenwriter Ansley Gordon announced the news on Instagram. “Oh hey @deadline  “Mysteries of the Heart” coming soon to @pureflix produced by @nicelyentertainment  ,” she wrote.

Ansley Gordon is an actress, screenwriter and producer. In addition to penning The Abigail Mysteries, Gordon wrote another TV movie called When Love Springs for Hallmark Channel. Emily (Danica McKeller), a novelist with a severe case of writer’s block gets the chance to finish her book at an empty winter chateau. She is surprised when the property’s owner, a prince named Henry (Neal Bledsoe), decides to come stay as well. Will this cohabitation lead to sparks flying between the duo?

Luke Marty and Jennifer Wigmore also star as Fritz and Ms. Tilson, respectively. T.W. Peacocke directed The Winter Palace; Greg Rossen and Brian Sawyer did the screenplay.

How Were the Ratings?

According to Nielsen, Great American Family closed its fourth quarter of 2022 being touted as the fastest-growing network in cable television. The growth was exponential at #1 in total day ratings in households, viewers aged 18-49 and in total viewership.

Compared to the year prior, 2021 had 50% less original Christmas movies than they offered in 2022. The number of movies was tallied at 18, establishing the family friendly network as a go-to destination for Christmas programming.

Jen Lilley is an American actress who has starred in a variety of made-for-TV films for Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and of course, Great American Family Channel. GAC fans remember her from last year’s Royally Wrapped for Christmas.

Jen has been married to husband Jason Wayne since 2007. In 2019, they adopted their two foster sons, and later that same year, Jen gave birth to a daughter. In 2022, Jen and Jason welcomed another daughter into their family, making 4 children total.

Jesse Hutch as Graham

Jesse Hutch is a Canadian actor known for his role on the television show American Dreams. Fellow Canadians will know Jesse from his series regular role on About a Girl. Other recurring roles of his include Arrow and Batwoman. But, he’s best known for his work with Hallmark, including Cedar Cove, Let It Snow, Harvest Moon and Christmas in Toyland.

Jesse’s been married to wife Loreili since 2009. They have 3 children together. For Halloween 2022, Jesse and Loreili dressed up in groovy costumes! “Peace y’all,” Jesse captioned the Instagram.
