Sleigh Bells and Sugarplums is a new holiday movie premiering on Great American Family as part of their Great American Christmas event. Sleigh Bells and Sugarplums Plot
Erin (Jill Wagner) joins her dad Doug (Bruce Boxleitner) for a Christmas in the family’s former hometown of Aurora on a mission that is part business – selling the family home – and major bucket list item for Erin to see the Aurora Borealis light up the Northern sky. Realtor Lori (Lauren Holly) and family friend and local tour guide Trevor (Jesse Hutch) create a Christmas inspired at every turn by faith, love, and hope, so much so that Christmas bells hung over decades in a forest grove ring an unbroken song, a harbinger of miracles to come.

Jill Wagner as Erin
Jill Wagner is an American actress. She hosted the hit competition show Wipeout from 2008 to 2014. Since then, the 45-year-old actress appeared in numerous made-for-TV movies with Hallmark. She also has three GAC films on her resume – A Christmas Miracle for Daisy, A Merry Christmas Wish and Bringing Christmas Home. Currently, Jill stars in Special Ops: Lioness for Paramount+. Wagner married David Lemanowicz in 2017, and they have two children together.
Jesse Hutch as Trevor
Jesse Hutch recently appeared in Great American Family’s original movie, A Christmas Blessing. Additional credits include GAC’s B&B Merry, Hallmark’s Christmas in Toyland and the upcoming GAC movie A Little Women’s Christmas. On TV, Jesse held roles in American Dreams, About a Girl and Hallmark’s Cedar Cove. The Canadian actor is married to wife Loreili with whom he has three children.

Lauren Holly as Lori
Lauren Holly is an American-Canadian actress. Her notable roles include Picket Fences, NCIS, Motive, Dumb and Dumber, as well as What Women Want. Currently, she stars in the Canadian series Family Law. Holly was married three times, first to actor Danny Quinn, then to actor Jim Carrey, and lastly to banker Francis Greco. With Greco, Lauren adopted three sons named Henry, George, and Alexander. The couple are divorced; Holly lives in Ontario with her children.
Bruce Boxleitner as Doug
Bruce Boxleitner is an actor with an impressive resume to his name. He appeared in the TV series How the West Was Won, and starred as the titular character in the Disney film Tron, a role he’s since reprised in later projects. Boxleitner was married three times. First, to actress Kathryn Holcomb, with whom he had two children; then to actress Melissa Gilbert, with whom he had one child. Currently, he is married to publicist Verena King.
